These two items are passed over the Pell Grant. The grant aims to teach students preparing to become teachers and are willing to work in an area that requires significant low-income areas.
These are grants and do not have to be repaid.
The loan program is the predominant Stafford loans for students and PLUS loans for parents and graduate students. These federal loans are at the confluence of two programs loans, the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) and the Ford Federal Direct Loan Program.
